Tickets are now on sale for a Larry Brown tribute concert in Oxford, MS on March 22nd. Held at Proud Larry’s, the concert will feature Robert Earl Keen, Alejandro Escovedo, Vic Chesnutt, Ben Weaver, Brent Best, Duff Dorrough, Cary Hudson, Tim Lee and Clint Jordan, and will be hosted by Clyde Edgerton.
The event will benefit the Larry Brown Fund, an educational endowment dedicated to nurturing the arts in Mississippi.
If you’re going to be in the area and want to attend, you should probably order your tickets online today. March 22nd is the first night of the 2007 Oxford Conference for the Book which is dedicated to Larry’s memory. So there are going to be loads of Larry fans in town and tickets to this benefit concert are expected to sell quickly.
