Caught the old 80′s Sylvester Stallone movie Cobra on television the other night. Gotta love that Jean Beauvoir theme song. Nothing goes with a leather outfit and mohawk like blindingly white high tops. I am curious, however, about the guitar he’s playing during the solo. The acoustic is obviously an Ovation, but I’m not sure about the electric. I don’t recall any BC Rich models with that body shape, although that company would be the obvious first guess.
man, COBRA had a big influence on my family. after it, for probably about a year me and my brother and my dad (and my uncle, though I’m not sure he saw the movie) all we kept chocked in our mouth during every possible waking hour, it was a match stick. it was made us seriously bad. but then the matches migrated to our various hats, and that was the first step away for them, our first step away from our COBRA-selves, and now, I suspect, I’m not even bad at all, except insofar as someone who was once bad might retain a little of that bad afterglow. but that I have to talk about it, I’d guess that pretty much negates any lingering badness.
