Sponsored by Music Nation and Gibson, the competition encourages aspiring axe slingers to upload an audio or video highlighting their best fret work to a website. The public then weighs in and votes on the entries with Slash ultimately judging the finalists and selecting the baddest shredder out there. The winner receives a Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar and a Marshall amp stack.
