The Design of Chronicle Books

I’ve always enjoyed the design of Chronicle Books. They’re generally fun, visually intriguing books. Yeah, I know… we’re writers and we’re concerned with words. But I do believe there’s something to be said for publishing companies that make books an event, that make them more than just words on white paper.

So I was thrilled to see GalleyCat point out this interview with Chronicle Creative Director Sean Adams. It’s a great look inside the world of book design.

    Nice spines, I must have about 20 of their art and design books already. They have their annual Friends & Family sale going on now for 30% off with the use of a code word “friends” - X-mas shopping has begun…
