The excerpt above speaks of a past crime and how the author felt about doing them. You can't begin to use this as evidence and say this is evidence for the present crime, when it is not. The writer changed in prison, just like others before him had, 1 example being Sanyika Shakur (a.k.a. Monster Kody, Kody Scott).
