Burke is Back

My affinity for the work of Andrew Vachss is well known. So I’m glad to say that Vachss’s anti-hero Burke is back. I’m about halfway through Terminal, the new Burke novel due out on September 25 and it’s a rush of a read. Full of Vachss’s trademark characters and icepick wit.

One of the interesting things about Vachss work is the way he manages to fold backstory into each new Burke novel. He catches new readers up to speed on the character’s history, without boring or being repetitive for readers who have known Burke all along.

It was a great way to spend a lazy Sunday night. More on this book later…

You are the first person to write about the new Vachss book, as far as I can tell. So for my sake (and many others’, I’m sure,) please read fast! I want to know more!
