I’ve picked up this book at least half-a-dozen times. I don’t know anything about Allison, but there’s something intriguing about this novel. Entertainment Weekly said that Allison has “a precocious knack for detail… and for plain, old-fashioned storytelling.” While Publishers Weekly said, “the nonlinear narrative gives Allison a trove of angles, and he nails all of them.”
