Former X-Men illustrator Dave Cockrum passed away on Sunday. According to this CNN article, Cockrum was wearing Superman pajamas and was warmed by a Batman blanket at the time of his death. A family friend indicated that Cockrum will be cremated in a Green Lantern T-shirt.
I guess that’s the comic book equivalent of dying with your boots on. Our condolences to the Cockrum family.
