Defamer had a report of a contest you would-be television hacks should get in on. I don’t have Showtime, so I’ve never actually seen The L Word but they’ve got a competition where you can submit some writing and fans will vote on a winner. And, as the show’s website says, “if the script’s good enough, it might even get produced and shown.”
If anyone’s got a spare Betamax or laser disc of the show I could borrow, please send it along. I figure I could pull something from the list of typical sitcom plots for my submission. Maybe the very special holiday episode. Or, maybe the kid-gets-in-trouble-with-drugs episode.
