Brightly Bespoke

Posted on Wednesday 1 February 2006

(alternate text)My stylish colleagues over at The Sporting Life will be excited to know that Jay McInerney shares their affinity for bespoke clothing. In this quick and questionnaire with Vanity Fair, McInerney takes about finely tailored clothing, potbellied pigs, and the despair of an absent wine list.

By the way, if you’re interested in increasing your sartorial splendor at your next book signing, English Cut provides a nice beginner’s explanation of what is “bespoke” and how to select a tailor.

I, of course, keep my tailor at Hot Topic in the mall on speed dial for those moments when I need to make a literary clothing splash.
