Syntax of Things Reviews New Oxford American

The excellent Syntax of Things gave a nice preview of the new issue of the Oxford American. I just got my copy so I can’t comment on much, but the SoT folks provide a detailed discussion of the magazine’s contents. I did notice that Marc Smirnoff’s Editor’s Box column focuses on the personality and painting of J.E. Pitts. You probably remember Pitts as the editor of Vox from one of our first interviews and Smirnoff adds to the legend by sharing some classic Pitts tales.

If your local bookstore doesn’t carry the Oxford American, you can order a copy directly from their website.
