One of the leading independents in the country, Square Books, celebrates its 26th year of bookselling. There are discounts on books today so call the store or stop by the square. Looking at all the author photographs on the wall is worth the trip to the store alone. One of my favorites is a photo of Larry Brown that he inscribed (I’m paraphrasing here), “They say that dreams really do come true and one of mine was always to have a picture on the wall at Square Books.” Check out the store’s website.
