I've read all of Rollins books, and i must admit, he's my favorite author:) His novels are so fast paced, there isn't a moment of boredom, and the familiar feeling of just wanting to skip to the end of a book, because there's where the story is, is somehow lost and forgotten. He keeps you reading on the edge of your seat. I really recomend these books to anyone looking for a great read^^ It's got it all; fast pace, action, sience, fantasy, history, details and a touch of romance;)
Looking forward to whatever may come next:)

I have enjoyed almost all of Jim Rollins' books. The scientific slant, the fast action, the lack of crude words and actions, and the thought provoking endings are all part of a great package! As an animal lover, I also like that the pet animals (as in Amazonia) usually survive! Your research is detailed, believeable, and very interesting! Thanks for good reading!

Jim Rollins' lightning-bolt thrillers are a special joy for me, as they actually excite you enough to want to turn the action-crammed pages, more than many blah-blah-same-old-thing modern writers' works do today. He is an integral member of an elite cadre of thriller-writers who cause one to haunt the local bookstore like some revenant salivating over the release date of his next thunder-clap novel. Here is an author who must write with an ostrich-feather pen, because he really knows how to tickle one's thriller-craving fancy! (Besides, I have emailed with him more than once, and in addition to being cerebral and intelligent, he's a heck of a nice guy!). As an aspiring some-day future author (hopefully!) myself, I note that one can learn alot from his suggestions and guidance. There's always room in my book-buying budget for another Rollins novel!

I hate to break this to you Michael, but very few people care about that kind of stuff. People read for story, not proper sentence construction.

I habe read a couple of his books. They don't take long to get through, being pretty simple and above all full of pace. But I wish authors like Rollins would polish up their English. In Sandstorm we have 'electric torch' when torch or flashlight would do. And another phrase like 'he was ripped from his feet' used the describe the effects of an explosion, has me wondering if he feet were left behind or Rollins means the man was thrown through the air. Such things getting through to the printed page either means Rollins insists on no changes or his editor is none to brilliant.
